Areas Inspected
- Grounds: driveway, sidewalk, grading, patio area, decks, fences.
- Exterior of the house: exterior siding, trim, chimney, roof, foundation.
- Attic Space: Wiring, electrical issues, roof framing structure, possible roof leaks
- Interior: doors (exterior, interior) sliding glass doors, patio doors, windows, interior walls, ceilings, floors, fireplace, laundry area. Safety features including smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
- Garage: floor, walls, ventilation, doors (to living space doors, to exterior vehicle doors, vehicle) electrical system.
- Kitchen: counters, cabinets, drawers, sink, plumbing, disposal, dishwasher, Oven range, and installed microwave.
- Bathrooms: toilets, sinks, counters, cabinets, electrical, ventilation, bathtub, shower, plumbing.
- Systems: plumbing, water heater, heating and air-conditioning, electrical system.
Not coved in a home Inspection:
Termite, mold, air quality, underground plumbing and wiring, energy efficiency, geological or land substance surveys and environmental or pollution inspections. These should be completed separately for your own protection. Examination of conditions related to animals, rodents, insects, pests, wood-destroying insects, organisms, mold, and mildew or the damage caused thereby.
The inspection shall be limited to those specific systems, structures, and components that are present and visually accessible. The Inspector does not dismantle of any system, structure, or component, or perform any intrusive or destructive examination, test or analysis
